Getting to Know Campus’ Jenna Manganiello – Presented by Visit Wichita

VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team this season?

Jenna: One of the goals I have for myself is to keep working hard every day even if I don’t feel like it and the goal for the team is for us to win at least one game in regionals.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Jenna: The most fun I’ve had in the last year was when I went to Galveston with my family in the summer.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?

Jenna: Munk is one of my favorite teachers because he makes class fun while we are learning.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Jenna: My favorite memory was at practice last year. We were all taking turns shooting and then we coordinated it where we all stormed the goal and shot, it was just so much fun.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Jenna: Grace Harrison has left the biggest impression on me because she was a great leader, player, and friend.

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Jenna: I think Kealie is definitely someone who says the funniest things while playing.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Jenna: I would probably go back to Hawaii with my family.

VYPE: If you had $500 and had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?

Jenna: That’s a hard question, I would definitely get some food and dog toys for my brother’s dog, she goes through them so fast. I’m not sure what I would so with the rest.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Jenna: I want to thank Coach Peschel for being an amazing coach and I’m really going to miss her next year.
