Kickin’ It Around with Corrigan Bielefeld – Presented by KDOT

VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team this season?

Corrigan: As a team, I would like to see us make it to the titan classic final and win at least one regional game. Individually, I would like to put up seven shutouts, and score three goals.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Corrigan: The most fun I’ve had in the last year was when my family and I took a vacation to Yellowstone this past summer.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?

Corrigan: My favorite teacher is my fifth grade teacher Mrs. Jacobucci. She encouraged me to do my best and not worry about what other people thought. She also always greeted everyone with a smile.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Corrigan: My favorite athletic memory is winning the MAG tournament with my club team my eighth grade year. We came from behind to end up winning it, and everyone was super excited since we had never won that tournament before.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Corrigan: My sister (Maggie Bielefeld) has definitely left the biggest impact on me. We compete against each other at every practice and in every drill, and she pushes me to be the best player that I can. After nearly 12 years of playing with her, I am definitely going to miss her after she graduates at the end of this season.

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Corrigan: I would say that Channing Riggins is one of the funniest players on the team. She always knows how to lighten the mood and is easy to joke around with.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Corrigan: I would go to New York City with some of my friends.

VYPE: If we gave you $500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?

Corrigan: I would probably buy a dog with it or go on a road trip.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Corrigan: I would like to say thank you to my family for investing their time and money into me playing soccer. I would also like to thank coach Peschel for all of the work she has put in to make our team the best it can possibly be.
