Campus’ District Spotlight – Pariss Lloyd – Presented by USD 261 Haysville

Pariss Lloyd of Campus was chosen for the Campus District Student Spotlight. Lloyd is viewed among her peers as one of the leaders of her class.

“Being described as a leader makes me feel accomplished, honored, and proud that people view me as a leader,” Lloyd said. “I am self-aware and prioritized, I want everyone to grow. I am kind, caring, flexible, open-minded, and a problem solver.”

Lloyd said the influence of the Campus School District has made a significant impact on her both academically and emotionally.

“Campus high school has made me grow so much since I started,” Lloyd said. “Campus has so many extracurricular activities that can help you feel like you belong and gives you a chance to get to know people, Campus high school teachers, counselors, and office staff have also helped me grow in so many ways, they are always there for me whenever I need something and always there to give me advice.”

The amount of extracurricular activities Lloyd participates in are numerous.

She has played volleyball for four years, as well as being the NHS Vice President, student trainer for two years, Link Crew mentor, Stompin’ Grounds coffee shop, YEK, She has also represented Campus as a Riverfest schooner mate, is top 10 percent in her class, takes honors and college classes and has been a Stuco member at-large. 

Next year, Lloyd will be playing volleyball at Hesston and plans to begin studying in the nursing program.
