This past summer Campus’ Taryn Kondo spent time in Colorado with her family. An experience she labeled as the most fun she’s had in the last year. She told VYPE she was grateful to have gotten to make memories with relatives she hasn’t seen in five years.
Something else Kondo won’t forget any time soon – her eight grade English teacher. Sharing with us that “She helped me through so many rough patches and she could always put a smile on my face even if I was a pain to her.”
Kondo aims to do this for others in her role as a volunteer. Having spent time at assisted care homes and volunteering with her church’s Food for Kids program she says “Being able to put smiles on everyone’s faces made me even happier.”
