VYPE was able to speak with Campus’ Kimberlyn Grim to learn more about who she is.

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?

My personal goals for the year are to work on my self-esteem, save up for a car, and continue pushing myself to grow in all areas of my life.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Going on a cruise with my family and exploring new places on the trip.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?

My favorite teacher from any grade would have to be my 8th-grade teacher Mrs. Benge because she was someone I could talk to and trust and she overall was an amazing teacher to have.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

My favorite athletic memory was qualifying for Pro-Ams for the first time. It was one of the first big swim meets I had gone to at the time and it was such a fun experience because I was traveling with my swim team.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

A teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is all of them. They all are unique and that’s what makes swimming fun. they have all had a  positive effect on me.

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?

My favorite part about being on Campus Colts is that I am surrounded by such amazing and talented girls who welcomed me right on my first day and are there for one another.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?

If I could pick anywhere for a summer vacation I would pick Florida and visit Universal Studios because Florida is so pretty and Universal is so fun to go to.

VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?

If I got $500 I would first spend some of it on swim equipment like extra goggles, caps, and suits. For the rest of the money, I would spend on new clothes and other things I have been wanting, and whatever money I have left over I would give to my younger sisters.

VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?

I am a member of our Kays club and SADD organization which both do various projects throughout the year.
