Baseball player Jacob Vulgamore has spent his last few years dedicated to Campus sports, and has tried to make as many memories as possible during his final year.
“The most memorable moment of the season so far to me has been just being able to spend my last season with my best friend Brody Johnson and just hanging out with all the guys,” Vulgamore said.
With the postseason right around the corner, Vulgamore knew he wanted Colts baseball to make an impressive run heading into regionals.
“The main goal for this season was to just make it past regionals after coming up short last year,” Vulgamore said. “That’s what I’ve been focused on and I truly believe we have the talent and the ability to make it to the state tournament this year.”
While still figuring out what the future holds, Vulgamore hopes to continue playing the sport he loves, and further his education in accounting after high school.
“My plans for the future right now are still not fully set but hopefully just to continue my baseball career and become an accountant after that,” Vulgamore said.
Vulgamore recommends Campus High School and the Haysville School District because of the relationships he’s made throughout the years he’s attended.
“Campus High School has definitely been some of the greatest years of my life, most teachers are super supportive and want to see you succeed,” Vulgamore said. “The coaches here want what’s best for you and for the team and in my eyes that’s the most important thing for an athlete.”
