
Campus volleyball player Charli Bernal completed an interview with VYPE to share about who she is.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
I’m hoping to keep all A’s and break the triple jump record for my school.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
I always have a blast on the bus rides to and from track meets.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
One of my favorite teachers is my seminar teacher Mr. Meade because I just feel like he’s very honest and real.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory was when my 4×4 team finally broke the school record it was extremely rewarding.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
BreAna Tillemans has made a huge impact on me just watching her ambition and watching her hard work pay off.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
I love the dynamic on the team and just the atmosphere is super upbeat.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
I would love to see Italy and I would take my family with me.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
I would spend $500 on new volleyball and track shoes then I would buy extra to donate to my school for athletes who can’t afford.
VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
At Campus I’m involved in Volleyball and track because I love sports and being around people that love what I love and I am a part of the coffee shop team at my school because I love meeting and interacting with new people.
VYPE: Are you involved in academic excellence activities such as the National Honor Society, Student Council, or other academic clubs?
I am not currently in any academic excellency programs but I have looked into it.
