Campus athlete Harley Lechner interviewed with VYPE to discuss who she is.

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?

Become a better leader at my job at Dutch Bros and have good health.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

The most fun I have had this year was going to the Thomas Rhett concert with my little sister Taylor.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?

Michael Graham my 7th grade history teacher at Haysville Middle. Almost every day he would let me and my group of friends eat in his classroom he always had my back and kept me up on the work that I needed to do.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

My favorite athletic memory is practicing my happy Gilmore swing while at practice. 

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Addie Paterson is a junior at campus this year and we’ve gotten so close over this last season and I see a friendship lasting past golf! She and I always practice together and have shared lots of laughs and memories! 

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?

My favorite part of being on this team is I always feel loved and supported even if one girl has a bad day on the course someone’s always reminding her she did a good job! 

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?

I would want to explore the state of Montana and scout out some places to live while I’m there! I would take my mom and dad! 

VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?

With $500 I would buy Cody Johnson concert tickets and put the rest towards my investments. 

VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?

At campus, I’m involved with varsity golf and varsity softball
