Q&A with Campus’ Allie Gentry – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Advanced Physical Therapy

Campus bowler Allie Gentry recently completed an interview with VYPE.

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?

To continue to succeed and improve in school, as a person, and as a bowler.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Winning GPC as a team and placing top 20 my senior year.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Caitlynn Clough -She is a sophomore this year so I have only bowled high school with her for 2 years, but she is always someone i can depend on. Kenny also always puts us together during bowling meets/ tournaments because he knows we motivate each other.

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?

The community I am apart of, every one of my teammates is there for me when I need them. As well as I will always be there for them if they ever need anything from me.

VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?

While at Campus, I have completed the  sports med program as well as completed my CNA. I am also apart of link crew, Stompin Grounds, YEK, and NHS.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Bowling has taught me that when something bad or disappointing happens to not let it affect the rest of your day or week. Similar to not letting a bad shot ruin your game or a bad game ruin your series.
