Wichita Trinity Academy has taken a significant step forward in enhancing its softball facility with the addition of a permanent seating structure and press box, thanks to a recently completed project by Hellas Construction.
The new installation includes more than 250 permanent seats, providing a long-term solution for fans and creating a more professional atmosphere for games. Prior to the upgrade, the school lacked permanent stands, making the project a priority for improving the experience for both spectators and student-athletes.
“This project gave us a permanent, high-quality structure that fit what we needed for our softball facility,” said Dan Beckler, Trinity AD. “Before this project, we did not have permanent stands, but we had a desire to create a better setup for our fans and community that support the student-athletes.”
From start to finish, the project delivered on expectations, with consistent communication and an organized approach standing out as key components of the experience.
“Our experience with Hellas was very positive from start to finish,” Beckler said. “They did a great job of communicating updates on a regular basis, which helped keep everything clear and moving forward. Once the project began, they came in, did the work, and followed through with a quality product. The process felt organized and professional, and we always felt informed along the way.”
Beyond meeting functional needs, the new structure has also elevated the overall appearance of the facility.
“In the end, they delivered something that not only met our needs, but also looked great,” Beckler said.
Trinity officials said they would strongly recommend Hellas to other schools or organizations considering similar upgrades.
“I would absolutely recommend Hellas to another school or organization,” Beckler said. “They communicated well, handled the project professionally, and built a great product for us.”
