Campus High School girls basketball player Analysia Morales has been named an unsung hero.
VYPE: What do your teammates mean to you?
Morales: My teammates are family. We have each other on and off the court. They’re the most honest and hard-working girls I’ve played with. We have such good team chemistry so it’s always fun to be around them. We always keep each other up by having positive attitudes and always supporting one another.
VYPE: When you hear coach calling you the unsung hero of the team, what does that mean to you and how do you define that term?
Morales: I am the unsung hero of my team. Meaning I put in as much work as I can but I kind of live under the radar. People don’t notice me as much as I should be noticed. It also means I don’t do this for attention. I do it to better myself and my confidence.
VYPE: What grade are you in and what would you like to do after you graduate?
Morales: I am a senior. After I graduate, I plan on going to college somewhere kind of close to home. I will study behavioral science to work my way to become a neurologist.
