Coach Davis says:
“We are a young team. We return two starters that played key roles for us a year ago. Zion Young and Andrell Burton will be key players for us. Aiden Sutter has patiently waited for his opportunity, and he get that this year.”
Zion Young (6-4, Jr.) is a returning starter with an insatiable work ethic. Coach Davis said Young has worked hard this offseason the become a better player. Bad news for his opponents. Look for Young to rebound, score more defend the opponent’s best player. Andrell Burton (6-7, So.) is a key player this season as the big man looks to assert himself into the conversation as one of the top players in the state. Burton started as a freshman. Aiden Sutter (6-2, Sr.) has been patient, waiting for his opportunity to help lead this team. That opportunity has arrived. Andrew Howard (6-4, Sr.) played a lot of minutes last season and is willing to do all the little things that helps a team be successful. Kasson Thomas will play guard, bringing his explosive style to the court for coach Davis. Also look for Braylen Jay to return after the Christmas break due to an injury he suffered during football season. Kayden Pierce is another inside player coach Davis is excited to have in the lineup.
