From Bus rides to the final game, Stevens treasured every moment of his soccer career. Telling VYPE, “My favorite athletic memory has to be my final game in high school just reflecting back
on all the great memories and friendships I had made in the process and all the fun the sport had brought me.”
Notable among the fun was “all the bus rides with my team during soccer season, especially the long ones.” As well as his favorite part of being on the team is “being able to form new bonds and friendships with everyone; this allowed me to make many great memories throughout high school.”
In his time with the team, there was one stand-out member that left their mark on him. For this, Stevens names “Gustavo Celiz.” Who “gave his best effort no matter what the circumstances were or the event, and watching this made me realize that you can do anything if you put effort into it.”
Moving forward, Stevens is focusing on “graduating high school with all A’s and then going to college at Wichita State University.”
