Campus basketball player Jacob Webber told VYPE in a recent interview “My personal goal this year is to average at least 10 points and over 5 assist and just do a big part to help our team succeed”. Webber said of the team “My favorite part of being on this team is just the people around me I feel like we’ve got a good team and good coaches who believe in us and that makes it fun and enjoyable to be here and be around them”.
When speaking about the other members of the Colts basketball team Webber shared “The teammate that’s left the biggest impression on me is probably either Landon Brown or Drake McPherson because I talk to them the most and I’m pretty close friends with both of them”. Webber “had fun hanging out” with these and other teammates during what he described as his “favorite athletic memory” which was “the KC showcase tournament over this past summer”.
When he isn’t working on his game Webber is participating in entrepreneurship market days, channel 060 social media, and volunteering with a Non-Profit organization run by his mother helping those less fortunate.
